Are there teachers who have the courage to accept gaps?
Yes. The best learning success comes when you focus on the individual abilities of a child.
According to the findings of Neurobiological research, children and adolescents learn very individually. This is why we have made it our mission to create an environment to allow for this to happen. This means that specific learning content is looked at more closely than others.
Perhaps you have asked yourself why we should all learn the same thing in school, although later in the workforce we are often confronted with completely different things. This is the reason why at LIPSCHULE the learning content is adapted to the child and not the other way around. This does not mean that we are promoting the transfer of knowledge for only part of the school material. This means that content is taught at a different intensity, depending on the needs and potential of the student. Of course, while still following the Lehrplan 21.
One advantage from this is that by concentrating on the essentials much more is learned concretely and is anchored in the brain. Through this, the respective students are much more motivated, which can also be due to our open interactions that we maintain through external influences and sources. We believe that certain skills can be acquired through in-depth experiences. We achieve this by organising courses and workshops in sports clubs, Kids – University as well as private institutes, or we invite experts to our school.
