We make sure that you can answer this question without hesitation. Thanks to individual support, regular assessments and much more.
As parents, you are not only interested in your child’s achievements and performance but also that your son or daughter is happy at school. This aspect is not completely insignificant either: Studies show that one’s well-being contributes to successful learning. As an institution that is committed to individual support and care for your child, we place great importance on having a comfortable environment and clear communication with parents.
You are the closest caregiver to your child and you most likely hear the most from him or herself. However, this topic is too important for us to ignore or to leave it to chance. That is why we’ve implemented some measures at LIPSCHULE, thanks to which you are guaranteed to find out any problems.
– We invite you to minimum twice a year for a parent – teacher meeting. This is usually held in the presence of your child.
– Further parent-teacher meetings can be arranged as needed – these meetings can take place either with us at our location on the Seestrasse or on Microsoft Teams.
– Due to the competence-orientated assessment that we use at LIPSCHULE, our teachers can provide a more differentiated feedback than other educational institutions who use assessments with grades.
– Weekly plans and other information are also available for you as parents, which are available in our password-protected area of our website.
– If the path in the Secondary School is gearing towards choosing a career, personal support is also intensified in this area. Personal coaching and career choice support is available Monday afternoons.
In all of our efforts, the relationship between students and teachers is crucial. As a full day-school we are one step ahead as we can build on these relationships outside of the classroom, for example at lunch or during the breaks. On top of that, the school management is committed to an open and friendly relationship with the pedagogical team. Because of this, we have very few fluctuations in staff. A circumstamce that also benefits your child: A real trustworthy relationship only arises in a long-term relationship.
