Full effort with the MiniAnne
Not only in the gym is there pumping — the students experienced this firsthand during cardiopulmonary resuscitation. What should be done in the event of cardiac arrest? Under expert guidance, everyone practiced chest compressions intensively on the inflatable training manikins called "MiniAnne" and the correct use of an automated external defibrillator (AED). The students took part with full commitment and were surprised at how physically demanding the rhythmic "pumping" actually is in reality.
Knowledge that saves lives
The initiative aims to raise awareness among young people aged 12 and up and to empower them to act quickly, bravely, and correctly in emergency situations. The students quickly lost their hesitation and gained valuable confidence. This knowledge not only strengthens their sense of self-efficacy but also makes an invaluable contribution to society as a whole.
A life-saving course to take home
After the intensive morning, the students were allowed to take their personal "MiniAnne" training manikin home. The goal: to pass on what they had learned directly to family and friends. With the help of a short, 30-minute instructional video, the young people can now become instructors in their own living rooms and teach those around them the basic life-saving measures.
