It is important to me to perceive each child and their very own needs. When we take that into account and support individual learning goals, their potential unfolds all by itself.
Ms. Barnard has worked in the field of education for over 20 years. In 1999, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education as well as her Montessori diploma for children ages three to six in Hawaii. She then worked in the US Virgin Islands and in Zurich. In 2010, she began working with Ms. Wyniger at Lipschule, but had to interrupt her work for family reasons. After completing her teaching diploma at the University of Teacher Education Northwestern Switzerland, she returned to Lipschule in 2023.
Ms. Barnard considers it important to create a familiar and safe learning environment for the children so that learning is enjoyable and rewarding. She greatly appreciates the family atmosphere at Lipschule and looks forward every day to the happy children. She is grateful to be able to accompany the children on their developmental journey. Ms. Barnard has two sons. In her free time, she enjoys discovering beautiful places around the world with her partner, recharging at the gym, or sitting comfortably with friends.
