Diving into the Annual Theme: Building and Architecture
This school year, the children and teenagers of Lip are dedicating themselves to the exciting annual theme "Building and Architecture": Castles, bridges, houses, our city, our dreams, and our ideas. We build diversely – just as our learning paths at Lip unfold.
With a lot of creativity, the children have already designed their own future cities and planned neighborhoods. At the start of the project week, we visited Villa Patumbah. There, we learned about neighborhood planning and what is needed for a functioning neighborhood. The students engaged intensively with various buildings and learned how important good planning is.
In creative sessions, they built diligently – from colorful houses in shoeboxes to impressive model towers in our learning hall. There we learned how important stability is.
During an excursion to the Sihl, the sense of community was very important to us: Building together connects! It was impressive to see how the young architects brought their ideas to life and had a lot of fun doing it!
Here's to a great Lip year for everyone!
