Inspiring Learning Places with Room for Development

Discover our locations directly on the lakeshore in Zurich Wollishofen. In addition to our large school building at the city limits, we use additional spaces near the Wollishofen train station for the focus year.

Understanding the World and Becoming Creative

In the wood workshop and our design room, our students learn about various devices, tools, and design materials. From the second cycle onwards, children can implement individual projects – craftsmanship and creative activities are integral parts of the curriculum.

Everything from Ping Pong to Stand Up Paddle

Our school has a spacious outdoor area with a play area and plenty of space for various activities. From sandboxes, ball games to ping pong and SUP, there is something for every age. We can use the playground and beach volleyball courts of the adjacent campsite all year round.

In-house School Kitchen

Healthy, balanced meals are essential for optimal development. That’s why our school kitchen team prepares fresh lunch menus daily from regional products. Any intolerances – no problem. To bring the topic closer to the students, we allow interested teenagers from the third cycle to help with meal preparation.

Getting Your Hands Dirty

The Lip is a member of the Garden at Grenzsteig association, allowing our students to participate in the maintenance of the community garden. They take care of the chickens, help with planting planning, weeding, watering, and harvesting. By tending their own garden plot, they experience the entire gardening year. The highlight is when we process the freshly harvested products directly in the garden kitchen and eat together.

Space for Perspectives and Potential

For our teenagers in the focus year, a separate learning location is available at Seestrasse 367. The premises are located in a quiet office building and are within walking distance of Zurich Wollishofen train station. Additionally, we use the infrastructure of our private school’s main location by Lake Zurich for creative work and lunch.

Coworking Flair for the 10th School Year

The premises resemble open, quiet coworking spaces and create an environment reminiscent of the future working world. The modern infrastructure and flexible workspaces support this flair and provide space to develop oneself and one's potential. On the large screen, the teenagers practice presenting and discussing their work.
